Salvia

Beloved by bees for their nectar-rich flowers.
Produces masses of burgundy and magenta flowers from May to September and beyond.
Grows to about 60cm or so.
Gaura
Pretty with a relaxed open habit.
Long, elegant stems dotted with starry flowers that dance on the wind like butterflies.
Flowers from May until November
Looks great with everything and very easy to grow.
It’s botanical name has recently been changed to Oenothera, but most people still call it Gaura.
Umbellifers
Umbellifers are characterised by their disc-shaped flowers called umbels, that are actually comprised of many tiny flowers held on short stems.
Tall and elegant, they lend an airy, relaxed feel to planting combinations.
